Adding additional names to a category in Wordpress -


strange question typically against how wordpress works i'm wanting add additional names category, "also known as".

so might have "tech talk" category called wanting add "bob billy" (for example) category can known as. know sub categories , isn't mean.

in wordpress categories, have description. can use description , show anywhere on blog/website. case have 1 alternative each category , not more.
according the documentation:

 <?php echo category_description( $category_id ); ?>

returns description of category defined in category settings screen current category (posts > categories).

please let me know if fits needs, or hand way acomplish :)
