branch.io - Branch link on Android only opens app if it already in task list -


i have branch link tap on standard mail client in android.

if target app running (so in task list) link redirects open app expected.

if target app not running (i have closed it) when tapping on branch link seems briefly go page (white red header) before closed , returned mail client , app has not been opened.

the branch link configured use uri scheme , not app link.
