node.js - A Dummy's guide Offline install of NPM Packages Windows -


i new npm , nodejs. curently following tutorial on pluralsight using mongodb, express, express generator, view enginge swig , mongoose. have downloaded , installed mongodb , nodejs both on computer having internet access, , on server no access.

i dont't seem grasp how can these packages online computer server no internet access. articles find seems assume whole lot more experience in realm of npm have.

if write 1-2-3 guide on how appreciate it.

stackoverflow not place "1-2-3 guides" - much, more receive answer if ask specific question. in case sounds starting little big - why not start out getting used node , npm before getting involved mongo etc, , post questions on specific issues might having node.

lastly, getting files onto machine no internet access going same whether writing node or vb6. if there no network access @ need use form of physical media.
