so isn't code question, more of 'can done' question. wondering if there way make ios app interact nfc.

this non-profit organization organizes events music concerts or playing ping pong expats. become member user have pay money life time membership.

why user have pay money?

to identify user have nfc reader @ entrance of gate , in bar drinks. every user needs card contains nfc , card interacts nfc reader. charge membership card. want reduce cost creating ios app.

what need?

i want create ios app(using swift & firebase) identify user @ entrance of gate , in bar provide discounts. how can achieve this?

i have read articles https://gototags.com/blog/apple-iphone-7-support-nfc-tags/ , googled it. don't find perfect solution. hope guys shed light.

there no api nfc capabilities in ios devices. nfc used applepay.

update - core nfc in ios 11 provides ability iphone7 , later read ndef data nfc tags.
