ide - Compile, build and execute Qb64 code in Geany? -

good evening,

i installed geany 1.24 in computer , have installed qb64 (i don't remember version , official site down). os: windows xp.

in geany, when write program in basic doesn't compile (aside returning succesfull compiled program). however, if have compiled program still doesn't compile again (after making change) lets me execute it.

so wondering if knows of setup "set build commands" run qb64 in geany. have free pascal ide 2.6.4 installed , geany recognized on first run , can compile , execute pascal code succesfully.

thanks in advance,

geany supporting freebasic in latest 1.24 version out of box -- not sure how similar these are. might qb64 running updating/changing file definitions. starting point the manual. if not working, might patch geany based on the hacking guide. there short checklist add new file type scratch.

if qb quiet similar freebasic, might enough change filettype_extensions.conf make qb-scripts recognized freebasic , update build strings on menu build- >configure build parameters (or ... got german version here) -- it's last point in menu.
