osx - Why can we not submit apps written in Swift before iOS 8 is released? -


swift can used writing applications run on ios 7 , prior or mac os x 10.9 , prior. why have wait submitting applications app store until fall when ios 8 , mac os x 10.10 released?

learning swift today , using in 4-5 months inefficient. writing new code in objective-c instead of swift counterproductive when swift future of apple platforms.

probably due fact need xcode 6, still in beta , won't ready before ios 8 / yosemite ships.
