Ctrl + Space not working for content assist on eclipse -


my problem content assist window won't pop after clicking ctrl + space. checked shortcuts , content assist bound ctrl + space. window automatically pops making suggestion after typing dot e.g., won't happen when using keys combination.

eclipse version:

eclipse java ee ide web developers.

version: kepler service release 1 build id: 20130919-0819

my os ubuntu 12.04 if matters.

i managed fix finally. problem ibus overriding shortcut deleted shortcut configuration.

type ibus in dash: search ibus

then select keyboard input methods. there click on first 3 dots next enable or disable textfield. windows should appear: shortcuts

if there bound ctrl + space delete it.
