migration - What is the best approach to move a single project from tfs 2015 to tfs 2017 (different server) -


i have 2 different tfs server setup , 1 runs tfs 2015 other tfs 2017. need move specific project 2015 2017 instance. please guide me best approach can go with...

you not directly move things based on team project level , seems inherent design issue source , work item entities. since there not able move team project between team project collections, there has been uservoice:

you have move entire team project collection if want keep workitems, source control history specific project. if want code, simplest way copy them , add in newly created team project in tfs2017.
