Looking for any example at all of a Typescript / Visual Studio 2017 / tsconfig.json with outDir and rootDir specified -


i having problems document please bear me before downvoting. trying use tsconfi.json in visual studio 2017. problems have are:

a) not seem send json files anywhere b) not seem automatically run tsc when file saved.

i migrated vs2015 , ever since it's been mess typescript not compiling , possibly wrong outdir , rootdir specified. document directory structure , tsconfig. appreciate advice / examples can point me to.
