reporting services - Why do some multiselect parameters show the selected values, and some don't -


i'm @ loss here. i've got report multiselect parameters, , works, can't figure out why of parameters show selected values , don't. take following example:

notice par1 shows selected values "00400", "00540", etc in dropdown, par2 doesn't show anything, though items selected. both parameters properties pretty identical different queries. i've used same dataset available values , default values, each dataset doesn't return nulls. else can check? users confused i'm sure.
